Hello! Hi and Welcome! Let me introduce myself!
My name is Bethany. I’m a wife and mom of two; a boy and a girl. I grew up in a small town north of Vancouver, Washington where I met my husband and started our family. In 2021, we moved across the state to Kennewick, Washington, about 3.5 hours away from our home town.
Since we visit the Portland/Vancouver area often, I offer shoots, both here in the Tri-Citites area and the Portland metro-area.
I have been doing photography for over 10 years, and recently decided to pursue it professionally. I started taking photos in high school of nature with my cell phone and editing them. When I was pregnant with my first, I decided I wanted quality photos of him that cell phones couldn’t offer at that time, so, I bought my first DSLR, and I. WAS. HOOKED.
This passion grew from just photos of my own baby to a hobby of taking family portraits of my friends and family with their young children.
Working with families, and children especially, is my favorite! I love capturing the love each family has in a gently posed manner. I believe the best magic happens with prompts, gentle posing and games. This way, there’s no cheesy grins and stiff postures, plus, everyone has FUN! I strive to capture those candid family moments, rather than forced smiles and want to capture each unique dynamic every family has.
